Cereal 02:11
I’ve been examining a correlation Between eating cereal and levels of inebriation. The sole purpose of these trivial observations Is only to legitimise the following statement I don’t get out much, but if I did, I would probably eat cereal I don’t get out much, but if I did, I would probably eat cereal A corollary, another observation Is that some cereals seem to have an age attached to them Like Dave says that Special K’s emasculating, yeah But you know that it’s only targeted at middle age ladies It’s 7:23am so grab your spoon and bowl There’s nothing to be afraid of, there are no hot plates involved We began fearing this feeling a long time ago, in prehistory, still you know I’ve been examining, woah Between eating cereal, eating cereal no I’ve been examining a correlation Between eating cereal, eating cereal no.

Laundry 02:16
Tissues in pockets tearing themselves apart On a spin cycle, mistake from the start You have it all hung up The covers are covered in snow You hung it up to dry We had a washing not a drying machine, hence the hanging Lyrics of living and learning about laundry, are worth having.

Metaphysics 02:31
Options are out or home theatre Lie or be fed up Blistering cold or the heater What, even a choice? I guess I’ll just go home I guess I’ll just go home, and tackle metaphysics on my own While the silent phone, confirms the fact that I’m alone Why walk around downtown in the cold downpour Did you wonder hours before if you could let it go? While lives go on outside as they did before Did you wonder hours before if you could let it go? I guess I’ll just go home, and tackle metaphysics on my own While the silent phone, reminds me that I’m alone.

Monday 03:05
I’ve been, I’ve been having fun (you’re no fun, you’re no fun anymore) But now that the weekend is gone (you’re no fun, you’re no fun anymore) Here’s a clue try to find all The reasons you call Monday-itis is just an excuse to feel forlorn A frame of reference that entices you to ponder all The reasons that we go to war We can’t choose days to lose, still all that time all you did was get by I’ve been, I’ve been having fun (you’re no fun, you’re no fun anymore) But now that the weekend is gone (you’re no fun, you’re no fun anymore) Here’s a clue try to find all The reasons you call Monday-itis is just an excuse to feel forlorn A state of mind that tricks you into thinking lazy thoughts That certain days contain some force We can’t choose days to lose, still all that time all you did was get by I’m making Monday my new favourite day In an attempt to look forward, to really anything I’ll be making Monday my new favourite day of the week In an attempt to look forward to something more than sleep Another bagel I could eat, or playing Good Luck on repeat Or other people I could meet, or funny reddits I could read.

about

Everything was coming up Milhouse... And then not too much changed. So they recorded again. Keeping with the Milhouse philosophy it’s another collection of short, sharp, quirky, and intelligent pop punk.

They still love bands like Staying At Home and Good Luck and Into It. Over It. and it probably still sounds like that. They’re still good friends with the super talented Dylan Adams, and were still rehearsing at Mr Milk Studios, so just like the first EP they got him to record and mix these four tracks there. And, as you can see, they’re still using incredibly disparate, single word song titles (and writing songs about breakfast).
They’re still pretty positive (musically and, you know, in general) and into Dr Pepper.

Perhaps the similarities end there? Unlike the first EP they sent this one over to the US for mastering with the wonderful Carl Saff (who did Ponytail’s last album, and Bridge & Tunnel’s most recent one, and they both rule).
